Bei der 20. Americas Conference on Information Systems (AMCIS2014), welche im Zeitraum vom 7. bis 9. August in Savannah, Georgia, stattgefunden hat, haben Mitglieder des IT-for-Green Projekts nach einem doppel-blinden Begutachtungsprozess zwei Beiträge platzieren können:

A Maturity Model and Web Application for Environmental Management Benchmarking
We are confronted with situations requiring trust not only in business contexts but in our everyday lives. In literature, there is no consensus on a single definition of trust leading to a plethora of definiti ons. Determining what trust means conceptually, regardless whether adopting the organizational, managerial, psychological, social or cultural perspective, requires great effort. The purpose of this research is not to collect a definite list of trust definitions, but to study their similarities and differences especially within the IS discipline as well as interdisciplinary over a large time span. We feel this objective has been achieved with a total of 121 definitions spanning over 50 years of research. Our results aid researchers in finding and devising a fitting definition of trust for their research, while ensuring that no commonly accepted word clusters are omitted. Furthermore, our research enables practitioners to phrase trust-building statements more efficiently and more holistically.

How Trust is Defined: A Qualitative and Quantitative Analysis of Scientific Literature
The purpose of this paper is to inform about the results of implementing a web application (portal) for maturity assessment and benchmarking in the area of environmental management. The status quo in this topic is analyzed by means of a systematic literature review. The web application is developed under the Design Science methodology. The web application described in this contribution is the result of the third iteration of the design process. The portal enables to measure the environmental management effort via a survey that is based on criteria pursuant to ISO 14000 ff. and EMAS III standards. In addition to the assessment, there is a benchmarking function that allows the comparison with other companies. As the literature review reveals, an industry neutral asse ssment tool for environmental management is missing. Therefore, this is the first application that provides such functionality
